Your window tint needs time to properly dry and bond to the glass. During this period, you may notice:
Water bubbles or streaks
These are caused by moisture trapped between the film and the glass during installation. This is normal and will gradually disappear within 1–2 weeks, depending on weather conditions.Hazy or cloudy appearance
A slightly milky or foggy look is common at first and will clear as the film fully cures.
Aftercare
What to Avoid During Curing
To ensure proper adhesion and avoid damage:
Do not roll down your windows for at least 3–5 days
Avoid cleaning the windows for at least 7 days
Do not press, scratch, or tamper with the film while it is curing
Cleaning & Maintenance
Once the tint has fully cured, you can clean your windows by following these guidelines:
Use a soft microfiber cloth with an ammonia-free glass cleaner
Avoid rough materials such as paper towels or abrasive sponges
Do not use harsh chemicals
Clean gently to prevent lifting or damaging the edges
Dust & Minor Imperfections
Although every effort is made to achieve a flawless finish, small dust particles or minor imperfections can occasionally appear under the film. This is normal and does not impact the performance or durability of your tint.
Protecting Your Tint
To keep your tint in top condition:
Be mindful of seat belts, keys, or sharp objects near the windows
Avoid placing stickers or suction cups on the tinted surface

Legal Tint Limits
In Australia, each state has specific rules regarding the Visible Light Transmission (VLT)—the amount of light that must pass through your windows. For example, in Victoria:
Front side windows must generally allow at least 35% of light to pass through
Rear side windows and rear windscreen may have darker tinting, depending on the vehicle
Reflective or mirror-like tints are typically restricted or prohibited
These regulations are enforced by authorities such as VicRoads.
